THE CHALLENGE
The Body Shop, a global beauty icon, sought to establish a meaningful connection with Bruneian consumers. The task at hand was multifaceted: to localize a worldwide brand without diluting its core identity, to transform corporate assets into content that resonated with local sensibilities, and to maintain a consistent yet dynamic digital presence in a rapidly evolving social media landscape. The goal was to create a uniquely Bruneian following while staying true to The Body Shop's global values and ethos.
THE SOLUTION
Our team developed a social media strategy that aimed to bridge the gap between international brand guidelines and local cultural nuances. We took the content provided by their headquarters and thoughtfully adapted it to speak directly to Bruneian beauty enthusiasts, creating campaigns and promotions that felt both familiar and fresh. Our design team worked to craft visual content that would stand out in local social media feeds, while our management approach focused on maintaining a consistent brand voice that could evolve with changing trends. Throughout the process, our goal was to create a digital presence for The Body Shop Brunei that felt as natural and nourishing as their products, inviting local consumers to be part of a global beauty community with a distinctly Bruneian touch.
